Special Education
Desert Cove Elementary offers a wide range of special education programs and services that cater to the unique needs of every student.
Every child has the potential to accomplish great things, and the school is committed to working hand-in-hand with their families to ensure a top-notch educational experience.
The selection of programs is extensive, including the self-contained communication development program for students with communication disabilities, Speech Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Hearing Impairment Services, and Resource classes for students with an IEP.
The Special Education Team is a shining example of collaboration and dedication, constantly striving to provide the best possible support for all students.

The Special Education Team is committed to educating students ages 3 through 22 with identified educational disabilities. Individualized services are designed to meet each student’s unique needs within the least restrictive environment.
